From Puerto Rey most of the area is close by: the long beaches of Vera, Garrucha harbour, the white streets of Mojácar and the Villaricos coast. These are the plans we recommend to our guests, few and well explained.

Half day
Mojácar old town
A walk through the white streets and a stop at the Plaza Nueva viewpoint, looking over the Valle de las Pirámides and the nearby sierras. Best late in the afternoon.
Lunch
Garrucha harbour
A stroll around the harbour and a meal of local fish or seafood: sea, fishing-port atmosphere and good food without a long drive.
Family day
Villaricos and El Playazo
Beach, seafront promenade and a coastline with mining history. El Playazo is the easier family option, with parking and simple access.
Guided visit
Pulpí Geode
Guided visit to the Mina Rica and its giant geode, one of the largest in the world.
