What data we process and why
The enquiry form does not store data: it only prepares a message which is sent through WhatsApp if you choose to do so. Online booking data (name, contact details, dates, guests and payment) is collected through the Smoobu booking engine. This data is used to answer your enquiry, manage the booking and stay, and comply with the legal obligations for guest registration.
Legal basis
Taking pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject and, where applicable, performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).
Retention
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted when they are no longer needed. Stay data is retained for the periods required by applicable law.
Recipients
We do not disclose data to third parties unless legally required. To manage bookings, we use Smoobu (booking management software) and Stripe (card payments), which process data on our behalf. When WhatsApp is used, the message is transmitted through the WhatsApp service (Meta), subject to its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to reservas@casachafarinas.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
